Kevin Ford is the cycling coordinator at Cadence Tours. Kevin has been associated with cycling in some form for most of his life. As a child he rode everywhere, as an adult he rode to work and also competed in triathlons. It was not long before he was chosen to represent Australia at the World Championships and then went to race at the Hawaiian ironman Triathlon. A career in the cycling industry beckoned and it
opened up many doors for him in Europe. With frequent trips to Italy, he started racing over there and merged his two passions of travelling and cycling which now enables him to offer our clients an unforgettable experience with his extensive local knowledge. Kev's favourite destination is Bassano del Grappa in the Veneto region of Italy. "Bassano is a beautiful walled town, ancient with modern amentities and located at the foothills of the Dolomite mountain range - cycling nirvana. When he retired he ran a bike shop for a few years before moving to his new home of Italy. He loves his 'Ligurian' lifestyle and the local food and never ceases to impart his love for all this and more. Watch out for his sense of humour though - it's
